Merry Christmas from the Van Noy's
CHANGE
The only thing that seems constant anymore is change. Perhaps this is due to our own making, but the world seems to keep on turning with or without us. There have been several changes in our business in 2013. Many of them involve the people you deal with.
On the positive side, we had Ken Heffernan rejoin us at the end of last year in a sales role. Ken is a pleasure to work with and his smile and positive attitude is one thing I do not find changes very much. We have also seen the addition of Philip Dejong to oversee our seed ordering, distribution and treating business and to assist me in getting some things done that I used to be able to do when I was younger. More recently, Stephanie Murphy has come on board to assist in the office with the many details in making sure your feed gets formulated, manufactured and delivered in an accurate and efficient manner.
On the less than positive side, Murray Payne retired at the end of October. Murray was a faithful worker for many years and in many ways was the face of Campbellford Farm Supply. He will be missed by us and I am sure by many of you as well. If you are up around Hastings, you will probably run into him out on the roads as he pursues the coyotes (some things never change!). In Murrays absence, we have hired Steven Finch who is fitting in very nicely to his new role. We have also totally destroyed (renovated) the store and are currently in process of putting it back together. Stop in and see us around mid-January. We hope to have it put back together by then.
As we turn our thoughts to the Christmas season and are reminded once again of the Christmas story, we are reminded of one thing that never changesGods Love for us! In James 1:17 we read "17 Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. Have you looked into the perfect gift from above? Perhaps we could all add some stability to our lives by connecting with the unchangeable God who gives perfect gifts thru his Son this Christmas season.
Have a Merry Christmas. Jeff & Jennifer Owners of Campbellford Farm Supply Ltd.
